Oslo Schoolmuseum presents the history of education of the city of Oslo. The museum is centrally situated in Oslo and are within a 10 minutes walk from Oslo Central Station. Here you will find the museum located in the old schoolmaster’s residence in Oslo’s oldest primary school, established in 1861: Møllergata skole.
The museum offers exhibitions and a small museum-shop.
Collection of schooling objects
The museum has an historic collection of schooling objects. The collection consists of books, student works, school furniture, maps, films and other teaching materials.

Museum history
Oslo School Museum was opened in 2000. The museum has taken its legacy from the Norwegian School Museum and the older Kristiania Folkeskolers Museum, established in 1900.
