The museum

  • offers exhibitions, a small café and a museum-shop
  • is located in the old schoolmaster’s residence in Oslo’s oldest primary school, established in 1861: Møllergata skole


Collection of schooling objects
The museum has an historic collection of schooling objects. The collection consists of books, student works, school furniture, maps, films and other teaching materials.

Museum history
Oslo School Museum  was opened in 2000.
It has taken its legacy from the Norwegian School Museum and the older Kristiania Folkeskolers Museum, established 1900.
