Oslo Skolemuseum have both permanent exhibitions  and temporary exhibitions.

The permanent exhibitions

The permanent exhibitions present the history of education in town-schools, and education in Oslo from around 1890 to the late 1970s.

The museum has authentic classrooms from 1900, the 1950s and 1970s. You can also experience the old schools’ cafeteria, the medical doctor and the dentist´s office. Topics that are given special attention are the health care of school-children and the differences in teaching of girls and boys.
